Not content with their sprint victories, the Howard brothers took on all comers including both pedal driven vessels and a C-1 unlimited canoe at the Sparta, WI 24 hour endurance race later in the summer. The boat set a new International Human Powered Vehicle (IHPA) and American Canoe Association world record of 104.6 miles. Although demand for the sleek 24 foot Pedalos™ has been high, the boat is still a company "prototype test mule" for even more exciting future designs. Production is scheduled to begin in the fall.
